Film Independent Spirit Awards 2024: Full list of winners

The 2024 Film Independent Spirit Awards are currently underway. Keep checking back for live updates.

Sunday’s 39th Independent Spirit Film Awards is in full swing!

The awards show – held on the beach in Santa Monica, California and streamed live on IMDb’s YouTube and Film Independent’s YouTube channel – is hosted by former Saturday night live star Aidy Bryant.

“We are thrilled to have the incredibly talented Aidy Bryant join us to host the 39th annual Spirit Awards,” Josh Welsh, president of Film Independent, said in a previous statement. “He has been entertaining audiences for years with his humor, skill and seemingly endless supply of energy.”

The competition is complex as Past lives, May December and American fiction contend with five nominations each — along with famous actors Greta Lee, Natalie Portman, Charles Melton and Sterling K. Brown, who starred in those films.

Lily Gladstone is also joining the festivities as Honorary Chair of this year’s awards. “As an extremely talented performer in many mediums, not to mention a multiple Spirit Award nominee, we couldn’t think of a better person to lead the celebration of independent artists,” said Welsh.
