Jasmine wants Gino to support her, but right now she’s freaking out about how much she has to rely on her husband.
In the episode of May 26 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever AfterJasmine asks Gino why he didn’t pay the registration fee for her participation in the beauty pageant, sparking an argument about finances between the couple who quietly married in June 2023.
“I hope Gino forgot to pay for this contest and it wasn’t intentional,” Jasmine said in the confessional, before calling Gina a “mother—er.”
Gino told her it was “a lot of money” to enter the pageant, on top of her “immigration costs”, which he said had “skyrocketed”, prompting Jasmine to tell him: “You have to go back to job.”
“This money thing is weighing me down a lot,” she said, and Gino reminded her that he “quit” his job when she moved to the US.
“Don’t use me as an excuse,” Jasmine retorted, accusing Gino of “dozing and sitting on the computer” all the time.
“You quit your job to play fantasy football. Fantasy football destroyed you,” she said.

In the confessional, Jasmine told Gino, “I expected to marry a service provider, not an idle man,” and he said he felt “a little more comfortable going back to work” now that she ” weakens the “feet” after her move.
When Gino finished working out, despite Jasmine wanting to stay longer in the gym, he made her leave with him. Then she admitted in the confessional that she felt controlled by him.
“It’s very frustrating because I’m totally dependent on him for everything,” she said. “I can’t go anywhere without him because he’s the one who drives me. I rely on him financially. He wouldn’t give me a credit card for the basics, so I can’t even buy tampons on my own.”

Later in the episode, Gino said of his wife’s frustration: “I understand that Jasmine is frustrated with the competition, but she’s always asking for things and she has to understand that she can’t always get what she wants all the time. This is a partnership, and we are a team.”
But she doesn’t really agree. “I really think Gino wants to sabotage the competition to show that he can take away what I really want,” Jasmine said in her own confessional, calling it “humiliating” and likening Gino to a “dictator.”
Gino was my safe person, the person I trusted the most, she added. “But since we got married, a lot of things have changed. It’s very different. I would never marry a Gino like this.”
