Georgia peach defended her past ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ relationship with new love saying it was a “nightmare decision” for the artist to move to Morocco

When her son, Julien, gushed about Debbie’s crazy on-screen breakup with a new girlfriend, the Georgia native admitted she felt hurt by the 43-year age gap.
“I didn’t tell Reuben about Oussama because I’m embarrassed about it,” Debbie told the cameras. “I want this to be my moment to find true love and I don’t want Julien to, you know, mess up and not give him the chance he deserves.”
After talking with Julien, Reuben admitted that he wasn’t sure what to make of Debbie’s past — whether it was romance in general or the big age difference.
“I don’t want to go around and waste time if there’s something that still exists from her past,” Reuben said in the confessional. “It’s not fair to me and constantly raises doubts. It’s in the back of my mind and I want to be able to solve it.”

Despite the slight embarrassment, Debbie defended her decision to seek out Oussama, who was 24 when she moved to Morocco with the intention of marrying him.
“It wasn’t a fly by night, wild rabbit, impulsive decision,” she told Reuben. “I have known this gentleman for several years, and he even acted much older than me. I moved there with the intention of getting married and opening an art studio on site to help other artists. However, he gave up. And I said, ‘Okay, I’m not asking any man to take me.'”
Oussama and Debbie became close because of their mutual love of painting. While Miss Debbie was ready to move to Morocco for good, it seemed that Oussama wanted a ticket to America with her. Their romance ended in flames when Oussama gave him an ultimatum: they would either move to America together so he could pursue his artistic career or separate.
Debbie has since revealed that she is no longer on speaking terms with Oussam, despite his best efforts. However, she helps finance his family.

It was a lot for Reuben to process, but their relationship didn’t seem to waver. “I can understand that you wanted to chase love or a dream,” he told her. “I’ve had failures too.”
Although the Miami resident admitted, “I have concerns, is it really over in a romantic way?”
As the pair put the conversation aside, Reuben told the cameras that he would take Debbie’s declaration of her love for Oussama at “face value”.
