Alix Earle and Boyfriend Braxton Berrios Take On the Titanic Challenge: ‘I’m Laughing So Hard’

Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios are taking their romance public.

Just days after confirming that the two were officially an item during a Call her dad live podcast in Chicago, the influencer (22) invited the NFL star (28) to join her in filming a TikTok challenge.

The two were seen trying to win “Titanic challenge” in a video uploaded to the platform on Tuesday. The TikTok star was lifted by Berrios as they recreated one of Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet’s most legendary scenes from the 1997 film.

Earle said in the caption that she was “laughing hard” while filming the challenging video. In the next broadcast, she showed the mistakes from the original clip, which included a scene where the two laugh and smile after Earle fell to the ground because her legs were shaking.

The social media star first sparked rumors that she was in a new relationship when she posted a “GRWM” video in March, explaining that she was getting ready to have dinner with “someone I met the other night.” Although Berrios was not mentioned, the two were later seen together publicly for the first time in May.

After they walked the red carpet hand-in-hand at the 2023 ESPY Awards, a source told PEOPLE that they “both kept it casual” and that “the two have always agreed that they’re not exclusive or official.”

When the NFL season started, Earle started attending Miami Dolphins games and in September revealed in a TikTok video that she had met his mom.

In addition to confirming the two are dating on Alex Cooper’s podcast, the TikTok personality revealed why it took her and the athlete so long to cement their relationship on the latest episode of her podcast, A Hot Mess with Alix Earle. After opening up about what went wrong in her previous relationship, she said the experience made her approach her new romance differently.

“There was also a lot of pressure with social media and it’s weird to me because a year ago today I just wasn’t in the spotlight like I am now,” she explained. “And I hate to even say it, but all the things I do or the people I’m with are analyzed under this microscope, and I really wanted to make sure I wanted to get into a relationship for me.”
