However, Anubhav Mohanty did not continue to be a part of the show for long due to personal reasons. He has also appeared in big-budget films like Raavan (2022) and London Love (2023).
Political career
On April 27, 2013, he joined the regional political party BJD. He was elected to the Bundestag uncontested in June 2014 and is the youngest member of the Bundestag. On May 23, 2019, he was elected as Kendrapara (Lok Sabha constituency) MP, defeating previously elected MP Bhai Jayant Panda.

In 2020, the Odisha Congress said the lawmaker submitted a false education affidavit to the Election Commission of India. Congress sought answers on how Anubhav got into Kandalpur College after failing to score two points at Christ College. Anubhav mentioned that he completed his degree from Shobit College of Engineering and Technology, Meerut. However, the Ministry of Human Resource Development derecognised the university in 2010.
