Suddenly, I went from a carefree person to someone who was dissatisfied with my life. I tried to make my marriage work but ultimately it didn’t work out. ”

Rushad dated Ketaki Walawalkar for a year before getting married. Ketaki is the creative director of the TV show Anupamaa, in which Rushad Rana plays Kavya’s ex-husband Aniruddh Gandhi (2020-2021). Rushad reportedly met Ketaki on a dating app.
In August 2022, Rushade met Ketaki on the set. In an interview, when asked about his relationship with Ketaki and how they met, Rushad said:
Because of my work ethic, Kaiji and I didn’t start dating while we were doing the show, and I wouldn’t date anyone on set. We met through a dating app last December and that’s how we connected. Managing time between us is tricky but the responsibility is on her as she is busier than me. However, she still makes time to meet and sometimes we meet just for a few minutes near my house. ”

Ruhad has been interested in modeling since college. He was inspired to pursue his interest in modeling by his uncle, who was a model. While studying at university, Rushad got the opportunity to shoot a commercial for Vicks brand. Later, he spread his portfolio in modeling agencies and had his first TV show Hip Hip Hurray on Zee TV. In an interview, when asked how he started his acting career, Rushad replied:
I started out as a model and soon television came along. I am in a good mood and the wonderful performances keep me busy and relaxed. Then, someone offered me a movie and I was like ab Sirf movie hi karni hai.

Rushad has been fascinated by acting since his school days. He participated in school plays and fancy dance costume competitions. In an interview, he revealed that he would go to the cinema to watch movies alone. In 2000, Rushad Rana made his debut in Bollywood with the movie “Mohabbatein”, playing the role of Gurukul’s student.
In 2004, he played the role of Sahir in the Bollywood film Veer Zaara.
In 2006, he played Aamir Khan in the Bollywood movie “Dor”. Later, Rushad appeared in some Bollywood films such as Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008), 8 x 10 Tasveer as Adit (2009), Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi (2012), Gangoobai as Khushru Mistry (2013) ), Calender Girls as Aniruddh Shroff (2015) and The Path of Zarathustra (2015).
In 2017, he acted in three Bollywood movies: “Maatr” (playing Ravi Chauhan), “Rangoon” (playing Hoshang Billimoria) and “Aksar 2” (playing Harish Raval). In 2022, he appeared in the short film “Dryfruit Ka Halwa” on YouTube along with Shweta Tiwari.
