But Wong knows the right guy for Hoda Kotb!
During her performance at Today with Hoda and Jennathe comedian, 42, coyly revealed that she knows the perfect man to hook up with Kotba – her friend and funnyman, Eric André.
“Eric André is kind of obsessed with you,” Wong smiled before asking her if she was familiar with his work. Then she pulled out some photos The Eric André Show personality, 41, adding: “Look, he’s a colorful dresser. He’s the host of his own show.”
The Beef the actress flashed a photo of André dressing up as Kotba in a light brown wig and purple Halloween dress. “And then that!” she said, referring to the photograph. “Look at [this. It’s a] tribute to you. Is that the first time you’ve seen it?”
When Kotb and her co-host Jenna Bush Hager expressed surprise at the pictures, Bush Hager asked why Kotb was the inspiration for his costume.
“Because he loves Hoda. I asked him, when I talked to him about dating, I said, ‘What’s your type?’ And he answered: ‘Hoda Kotb.’ No, I think he just said ‘Hoda’ because you’re like, you know, in that mono.. status — what’s that, mononymous status?” Wong replied, referring to celebrities who are referred to by name only like Madonna and Cher.

Kotb admitted she had no idea André was “obsessed” with her, and Wong added that his affection for her shouldn’t come as a surprise because she has “a career, you’re safe, you’re beautiful.”
Bush Hager agreed that the two could really make up and joked to Wong, “Let’s talk after this!”

Kotb was last linked to Joel Schiffman. In 2019, the financier popped the question to a television journalist, but the couple broke off their engagement in 2022 after eight years together. The couple have daughters Hope (4) and Haley (7).
While she’s still on the hunt for her perfect match, Kotb told PEOPLE that she’s changing her approach to dating in an effort to stay true to herself.

“You know what? “I just decide before every date that I’m going to be exactly who I am,” she said in an interview in March. “I’m not going to pretend. I’ll eat what I normally would and I won’t get a salad. That’s not for me. That’s why I want to be myself, so that he knows it’s me.”

The mother-of-two also dismissed her advice for getting back on the dating bandwagon, saying: “If you sit in your house and order Domino’s Pizza, you’re not going to meet anyone. All right?”
“You just have to get out there, and who cares if it’s a good day or a bad day, it doesn’t even matter,” she continued. “Go out, learn a little, have fun and be open. Like, just do it. You get one ride around the sun. You could go out and eat with someone. They pay, who cares? Like, go and do it.”
