Ariana Madix wants to help Lily Collins trade French pastries for a sandwich in Los Angeles.
Madix spoke with PEOPLE at the DirecTV Gets Real Party hosted by DirecTV, PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly on Thursday, September 26. He says he wants to help Emily in Paris the actress got her hands on a replacement from her sandwich shop, Something About Her, after Collins had trouble with a long line at the store.
Collins revealed the sandwich banter on the Sept. 22 episode Watch what’s happening live. During the episode, Andy Cohen asked Collins and Ashley Park for their thoughts on Bravo.
After a few The Real Housewives of Orange County and Below deck The TV presenter asked questions: “What do you think about the level of fame that Ariana Madix has achieved?”
“The girl is on fire!” Collins responded, and Park echoed the same sentiment, adding, “And she’s performing eight times a week, you know? And I have respect for anyone who does.”

“I have to pick one bone, though,” Collins said. “I tried to go to Something About Her on opening day [Emily in Paris] out, the first part. Row down the block – which is great news, by the way – but I couldn’t seem to get a sandwich. I needed a sandwich and I couldn’t get my sandwich!”
When asked about the “sandwich door” at the DirecTV Gets Real party, hosted by Madix, Island of love USA the host couldn’t wait to bring Collins back.
“Whenever he wants to come back Lily, we got you, come back whenever he wants,” Madix says.

Madix opened Something about her with her colleague Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney back in May. The rom-com-themed sandwich shop has been a long time coming — the two first announced plans to open the store in 2022. Upon opening, it gained instant popularity.

The West Hollywood spot’s menu items are named after rom-com leading ladies like Drew Barrymore, Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz and Diane Keaton.
Madix says her favorite right now is Nancy, named after director Nancy Meyers. “I go through phases with all of our sandwiches,” she says. “I’m in a Nancy phase right now, it’s our BLT and it’s just so good — like the bacon is so crispy.”
