Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Tom Brady Form a Boy Band (and Embarrass J.Lo) in Dunkin’s Super Bowl Commercial

Introducing, DunKings.

Ben Affleck enlisted his longtime friend and fellow Bostonian Matt Damon and New England sports legend Tom Brady to form the ultimate boy band in a Dunkin’ Super Bowl commercial.

In the lively ad, the trio come together to celebrate Boston’s favorite coffee brand — and crash Jennifer Lopez’s shoot in the process.

During a teaser for the commercial that aired during the Grammys, fans were able to see Affleck’s journey to “pop stardom” with the help of Charlie D’Ameli. Now, in a commercial for the day of the big game, viewers watch his hard work pay off as he forms a musical group (DunKings!) with Damon and Brady.

At the start of the video, Lopez appears in a recording studio with rapper Fat Joe, drinking from a glittery Dunkin’ cup.

The scene cuts to Jack Harlow telling Affleck in the car, “I don’t think you should do that.” (Prior to the main ad, Dunkin’ shared a teaser featuring Harlow as Affleck’s “voice of reason.”) Referring to last year’s Dunkin’ Super Bowl ad — in which Lopez is seen ordering from Affleck in a car — Affleck tells Harlow, “Last year she came to my work. Now I have to show her what I can do.” Back in the music studio, an assistant whispers in Lopez’s ear, “He’s here.” Lopez looks worried, “No.” Affleck bursts into the recording studio, wearing a “DunKings” tracksuit complete with signature pink and orange brand colors.

“What’s up! For your consideration, here’s the Boston Massacre. DunKings!” he says announcing the name of the band.

While Lopez hides her face in embarrassment, it is revealed that Brady and Damon are the other members of the band DunKings.

“Touchdown Tommy on the keys!” Ben says, punching Brady. “You got it,” Brady adds.

Next it’s Damon’s time to shine. “Needs no introduction, partner,” Affleck says in a thick Boston accent. Damon hilariously replies, “It’s really hard to be your friend, man.” The Air the star fires back, “You said you’d support me.”

The star boy band performs a number in front of Lopez. “DunKings!” they exclaim as Affleck shows off his moves with backup dancers.

“Don’t knock yourself into my heart. Why are you stabbing me, girl?” lyrics ring out as Brady shares a solo, singing “DunKings!”

As a sign of bow to his iconic Good Will Hunting line, Damon ends the number with a mic-drop-worthy one-liner: “How do you like…doughnuts.” Blushing with embarrassment, he tells Lopez, “I’m so sorry.”

“You had to see it, but I forgive you,” Affleck tells his wife and blows her a kiss.

Clearly more eager than Damon, Brady gets excited at the thought of actually signing the “Let’s Get Loud” singer. “Are we going to be on the album?” he asks.

Jaw completely dropped, Lopez is speechless at their performance.

“We talked about it,” she scolded her husband. Damon awkwardly sips his coffee — complete with Munchkin decorations on skewers.

“Let’s go. You’re blinded by those stripes,” Affleck tells his Bronx-born wife, referring to the New York Yankees. “There goes Babe Ruth.”

In a shocking ending, Lopez asks one member to stand up — not Affleck. “That? You can stay,” she says to the former Patriots back.

The video ends with Affleck and Damon walking outside. The back of their formal suits is even more visible than before. The Boston Red Sox font reads “Boston” on the back of the Affleck.

“Remember when I told you I would do anything for you?” Damon asks his longtime friend. “This is anything.”

“Chill, they’re going to name the drink after us,” Affleck replies.

On Monday, Dunkin’ is rolling out a DunKings menu nationwide, including Affleck’s own drink and DunKings Munchkins Skewers.

Along with an exciting menu, fans can rock the band’s goofy Super Bowl ad look. On Monday at 12:00 PM ET, DunKings sweatpants and beanies will be available to order on ShopDunkin.com.
