Bruce Willis clutches onto Demi Moore in new rare pic in birthday tribute shared by actress during his dementia battle

BRUCE Willis is pictured in two new photos shared by his ex-wife Demi Moore as he celebrates his 69th birthday.

Bruce was diagnosed with aphasia in March 2022, which later turned into frontotemporal dementia.

The condition is said to cause personality changes, obsessive behavior and speech difficulties.

Since then, his family – including Demi, 61 – have rallied around offering tons of love and support.

For the actor’s birthday, Demi – who shares grown daughters Rumer, Tallulah and Scout with Bruce – shared a heartfelt Instagram post with a recent photo of the two.

In the picture, the Die Hard star can be seen sitting in his living room in a plush gray armchair with his ex-wife on the armchair.

He wrapped his arm around Demi, gently holding her upper arm as they talked.

In return, she holds her hand over his while touching his arm with her other hand.

The actress captioned the post, “Happy birthday, BW! We love you and are so grateful,” adding a white heart emoji.

She also included a photo of Bruce with his grandson Louetta, Rumer’s first child, and a throwback photo of him with his daughters.

In January, on an episode of Good Morning America, Demi updated Bruce’s fans on his health.

She spoke with George Stephanopoulos about her role as Ann Woodward on FX’s Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans.

But the spotlight quickly shifted to Bruce as George sought quick information on the father of her children.

She replied: “I think that, considering the circumstances, he is doing very well.”

“What I’m going to share is what I tell my kids, which is that it’s important to meet them where they are and not hold on to what isn’t, but what is.”

Michael Strahan replied: “Our thoughts are with him and the entire family.”

PREPARE TO SAY EVERYTHING

As Demi appears to discuss Bruce’s health, his now-wife Emma Heming – who he married in 2009 – has revealed she has not received any support following her husband’s diagnosis.

In February, she revealed her plans to publish a book about caring as she has been Bruce’s active carer since he was diagnosed.

She discussed the issue with the publishing house Otvoreno polje.

The book plans to “offer a thoughtful, inspirational guide for those seeking support as they manage a loved one’s dementia.”

In her newsletter, Emma said: “For many people, their first contact with this disease is at the doctor’s office.”

She continued, “I think it’s very important how this information is communicated from the doctor to the patient and the loved one.

“It’s imperative to have resources and information available. Based on my experience and that of other care partners I’ve talked to, I know; our stories are unfortunately similar.”

She said she left the doctor’s office with almost no support or resources.
