Chris Hemsworth Shares Sweet Boat Pic with Wife Elsa Pataky

Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky are soaking up some sun!

On Friday, the 40-year-old actor took to Instagram to share a photo of the couple in swimsuits against the backdrop of the ocean as they enjoyed a scenic boat trip together.

The post also included a close-up black-and-white photo of Hemsworth wearing stylish sunglasses, which he captioned. “Long live @m_experiment for keeping the baby blues in the shadows,” he wrote, tagging the eyeglass brand.

The couple — who are parents to daughter India Rose, 11, and 9-year-old twins Sasha and Tristan — recently enjoyed some other fun outdoor activities as a family. Back in October, Pataky, 47, shared on Instagram that the group was having a “family race day.”

“I’m not competitive at all 🤣🤣,” she joked in Spanish in the caption of the post, alongside photos of the Hemsworths posing with their bikes and a clip of parents cheering on their kids as they race on a dirt track.

Back in September, Hemsworth and India went on an epic solo adventure to Iceland together. The Thor: Love and Thunder star shared many interesting moments from the action-packed trip, including one post featuring photos of the father-daughter duo climbing glaciers.

Another post included a video of the couple riding an ATV together enjoying the amazing Icelandic scenery.

“Third day in Iceland, started a bike gang with my daughter. We are currently the only two members and will remain so for now 👊🏍️”, he wrote in the description.

A third post featured photos from fishing on the lake, including a shot of India showing off her big catch. “Dinner arranged, thanks Indi!!” Hemsworth’s caption read.

The actor told PEOPLE in 2017 that one of his biggest goals as a father is to teach his children “to really appreciate everything” in life.

“As a kid, we had very little money, and my parents saved for a whole year just to pay for a two-week camping trip,” he explained. “We’re in a different position financially, but I want to make sure they know these things don’t come easy. You have to work for it and you can’t take it for granted.”

He added that he hopes to instill in them the idea that “success is more about the values ​​we have and the type of people we are, rather than the material objects we might get.”

When it comes to his own approach to life, Hemsworth recently revealed that he’s been finding more time for quiet reflection since learning to do so on National Geographic’s docu-series Boundless with Chris Hemsworth that he has an increased risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease.

“I’m bringing more solitude into my life,” he said Men’s health in October.

“Lately, I really feel the importance of taking time for myself without any outside voice or stimulation and setting aside time for silence,” he added.

His health and wellness routine now includes more “mindfulness work,” including meditation and breathing, which he likes to practice while using the sauna or taking an ice bath.

“For me, my favorite mindfulness work comes from being immersed in the physical [activities] which allow me to be fully present and force me out of [my] head and body, especially surfing,” he pointed out.
