Christina Hall Shares Update 'One Month on' amid Divorce from Josh Hall: 'There is a New Level of Gratitude'

Christina Hall gets candid about life following her recent divorce announcement.

The Christina on the Coast host, 41, shared in a post on Friday, Aug. 9, that she has a “new level of gratitude” in a personal update amid her divorce from Josh Hall.

Christina wrote on her Instagram Stories: “A month later … I finally got my appetite back. I’m working out again. My children are happy and our house feels like home. ‘Those poor kids’ adore me… anyone who really knows us knows that and that’s what matters.”

The HGTV star went on to say that recently she’s been “laughing more than I ever have” on nights out with friends and that “work is going so well it feels like a dream.”

Speaking about her current outlook on life, Christina explained: “I have a life coach and I made a promise to myself and to her — I will never give up my peace again. I will say — if you’ve ever lost your peace and regained it, there’s a new level of gratitude for every single moment of life. A huge level of gratitude for present moments and presence.”

“If that’s a lesson, I’ll take it. When you have a positive mindset, the rest will take care of itself as always 🤍🤍,” she concluded.

Christina accompanied her message with a sweet photo of herself lying at home with her sons Brayden, 8, and Hudson, 4, as she wrote, “Perfect Friday night 🤍.”

The TV host shares a son, Brayden, and a daughter, Taylor (13), with her first husband, Tarek El Moussa. She shares her youngest son, Hudson, 4, with her second husband Ant Anstead.

News of Christina and Josh Hall’s divorce was announced on July 16.

News of Christina and Josh’s divorce broke in July, when Josh filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences” and asked for spousal support, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE on July 16. Christina responded with her own filing on July 24, requesting that neither party receive spousal support.

More recently, Josh was seen in PEOPLE’s exclusive photos moving out of their $12 million home in Newport Beach, California on August 5. This comes after he first opened up about the divorce on Instagram on Aug. 2 when he said, in part, “I prefer privacy, especially during something as life-changing as a divorce I didn’t ask for,” adding, “I’m not going to publicly to insult because people have families, friends and others who respect and love them. ”

On August 7, Christina was seen having fun on the set of her new HGTV series Flip Offin which she was originally supposed to appear with her estranged husband, since Josh was not seen.

The upcoming house-flipping competition show was originally supposed to see the former couple face off against Christina’s ex Tarek, 42, and his new husband, Selling Sunset alum Heather El Moussa, 36.

The series is set to premiere in 2025, and on July 23, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that Christina has returned to filming the series, albeit without her estranged husband.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, August 9, Christina posted a message on her Instagram stories to those who reached out to her with romantic messages following the news of her divorce.

“Dear men. Your handwritten/typed letters are cute, but no, you won’t be my fourth ex-husband 🤪,” she jokingly wrote to fans.
