Christine Brown Teases ‘a Lot’ More of Husband David on Sister Wives as He Jokes She ‘Threw Me to the Wolves’ (Exclusive)

Sister wives Fans got a glimpse of Christina Brown’s romance with husband David Woolley on the TLC hit, and luckily for viewers, there’s much more to come.

“People will see the two of us a lot,” Brown, 52, tells PEOPLE in a joint interview with her husband. “I’m really excited for all of us to get to know David more, because he’s really honest.”

Woolley first appeared on Sister wives: one on one last season before the couple’s wedding special aired in January. But joining the series, Woolley says, wasn’t an easy transition — one that Brown “didn’t” prepare him for.

“They threw me to the wolves,” jokes Woolley, who also says he “never wanted to be on camera before.”

“Oh, my God. Look, I tried, but then I ended up talking over him and then I feel really bad,” Brown explains. “When a one-on-one interview with [host] Suki [Krishnan], she said: ‘How did you propose?’ And I say: ‘Let me tell you.’ And I just completely took over.”

Brown, however, began discussing early on what it would look like if Woolley appeared on screen. “When we start talking, I’m like, ‘What do you think about filming a date?’ And he’s like, ‘Oh, what does that even mean?’ So I stopped it a bit and I didn’t prepare that much and I didn’t know that I didn’t prepare it enough. But now it’s for more episodes,” she explains.

Noting how “real and authentic” Woolley is, Brown says “the magic of David is that he doesn’t need a lot of training or preparation.”

“I don’t really prepare him for things. It’s like, that’s it. That’s what we talk about. We’ll meet and have People magazine interview, and this is,” she continues. “But he’s just authentic and real and I think that shines through. I think he’s very well liked just because he’s just him.”
