Cindy Crawford Shares Patriotic Throwbacks for Fourth of July — Featuring a Sexy Star-Spangled Bikini!

Cindy Crawford rang in the 4th of July with a trip to remember.

The 58-year-old supermodel rounded up some of her most patriotic throwback photos for an Instagram Reel celebrating the holiday.

“Born in the USA ❤️🤍💙,” she wrote in the post, which was set to Bruce Springsteen’s song of the same name.

The slideshow included some of Crawford’s most famous modeling campaigns from the ’90s, including her 1992 Pepsi commercial that cemented her superstar status. In the ad, Crawford wears a white crewneck top and denim shorts as she sips a can of Pepsi next to a red Lamborghini at a gas station.

The model also released several shots from her 1993 swimsuit calendar, including a photo of her in a white one-piece swimsuit with a heart-shaped US flag. In another, Crawford is seen wearing a plunging red one-piece jumpsuit with her hair slicked back. In one particularly sexy photo, Crawford models a skimpy triangle bikini printed with the US flag.

The founder of The Meaningful Beauty also threw in some recent photos. In one, a model poses on a boat in a blue shirt and white shorts.

Over the years, Crawford has recreated her hugely successful and influential Pepsi commercial many times. In 2002, she starred in a spin-off version of the commercial set at the same gas station as the original. However, the sleek Lamborghini was replaced by a family-friendly SUV that housed two children — played by Crawford’s daughter and son, Kaia and Presley.

In 2023, Crawford paid tribute to the famous commercial by appearing in the music video for That Chick Angel’s song “One Margarita (Margarita Song) (Saucy Remix)”. Instead of a can of Pepsi, the model held her husband Rande Gerber’s Casamigos tequila margarita.

Crawford reflected on the lasting legacy of her Pepsi commercial in an interview with PEOPLE in 2018, ahead of Super Bowl LII.

“This time of year it always comes up in the best Super Bowl commercials ever, and every January I revisit my original Pepsi commercial that I just love because the music was perfect and the boys were perfect and it was just one of those commercials that everyone loved and that made people happy,” she said.
