Fans of Disney’s Girls Meets World may recognize Corey Fogelmanis and Sabrina Carpenter. In the comedy television series, two young actors played their roles well. Carpenter portrayed Maya Hart, while Fogelmanis played Farkle Minkus. During the three seasons of the program, they became close friends and were often seen together on social media and at various events. When deleted scenes from the 22-year-old actress’ ‘On Purpose’ music video became public in 2017, it fueled suspicions about the relationship. Fogelmanis and Carpenter are seen having some sweet moments in a YouTube video that reveals behind-the-scenes activities.
“Oh my god, I just want them to meet!” one viewer said in the video.
“Corey is the one shooting her music video,” said another.
Similarly, many Instagram photos posted by Fogelmanis showed their private moments together, leaving fans in awe. For example, in September 2017, a PrankMe celebrity approved a series of photos of herself and Carpenter. Sarah Elizabeth Carpenter, the actress’ sister, photographed the duo joking and holding hands.

Despite her PDA-filled moments with Fogelmanis, Carpenter denied dating her co-star and close friend in 2018. First, she denied dating Fogelmanis when she spoke to Seventeen for the August and September covers, saying that he was her a great friend and significant support of her life. “He’s very funny and brilliant,” she noted, noting that her relationship with him was never more than that of wonderful friends.
“Oh, my God,” she said, “I don’t know how many times I had to say that.” Carpenter also called him a “wonderful friend” in an Instagram post from August 2018. She posted a photo of them together to wish him a happy birthday.

In the message, she also thanked him for being her friend and not dating her. This explains why their dating rumors were nothing more than their followers’ desire to see them as a couple. Having said that, they never dated. Even now, Fogelmanis and Carpenter are strong friends, often appearing in social media posts. Carpenter has previously been linked to Bradley Steven Perry (2014-2015), Griffin Gluck (2019-2020) and Joshua Bassett (2020-2021). Fogelmanis, on the other hand, stirs up homosexual suspicions with cryptic posts on Instagram.
