Country Star Cole Swindell and Wife Courtney Celebrate Wedding with Bash in Nashville: 'Something We'll Always Cherish'

Cole Swindell and his wife Courtney Little Swindell are having a wedding celebration!

Just 10 days after the 40-year-old country music star and the boutique owner tied the knot in a private family ceremony in Sonoma County, California on June 12 — before jetting off to Turks and Caicos for their honeymoon — the couple celebrated their nuptials with a party in Nashville on June 22 surrounded by more than 250 family and friends.

“We loved the intimacy of a private ceremony with just our immediate family, but we also wanted to celebrate with our favorite people,” Courtney said. Brides reception in Tennessee, held at Cortina Farms, a private estate spread over 120 acres. “It was a dream to have a wedding, go on a honeymoon and then come back to Nashville to celebrate with everyone.”

Cole Swindell’s Bride Courtney Shows Off Stack Of Wedding Rings For First Time: ‘Lax Woman’

Courtney told the magazine that she and Cole — who got engaged in May 2023 — were drawn to the picturesque location’s unique blend of old-world European sophistication and Southern charm. “The place feels like you’ve been transported somewhere in Italy, and it still gives off a small-town Tennessee vibe,” she said.

To achieve cohesion between their California ceremony and Tennessee celebration, the Swindells worked with wedding planners Josiah Carr and Justin McGregor of SAMKOMA for both events. “Working with SAMKOMA on our ceremony and reception allowed us to have two completely different events in separate locations that still felt the same and had a very similar aesthetic,” said Courtney Brides.

The reception took place mostly in a black-framed marquee — which complemented the event’s overall color palette of black, white and tan — hung with rustic bronze chandeliers and filled with flowers and candle-draped tables to create Cole and Courtney’s vision of a “pretty, candlelit dinner. ”

“It was so high and open and we were surrounded by nature on all sides,” Courtney added of the tent setup.

For the occasion, Courtney wore a dramatic white Katherine Tash dress with a high slit on the legs, long sleeves and an off-the-shoulder design. She paired it with a pair of white Badgley Mischka pointed-toe pumps with ankle strap detailing.

“I found a dress shop in Nashville that happened to carry the designer,” Courtney said of her reception look. “We made them rush the ship [the dress], and I had a rehearsal the same day. I bought it a few minutes later. It was exactly what I imagined!”

As for her glamorous look, Courtney worked with her friend and hairstylist Lexie Echard to achieve her “effortless” look. “I knew we were going to be out all evening and I just wanted to look elevated but natural,” she noted.

Although she and Cole didn’t have another wedding ceremony at their Tennessee dinner, Courtney did include some traditional wedding details like a bouquet, designed by Curry & Co, featuring white roses, hydrangeas and hanging amaranth.

Her husband wore a brown Hugo Boss tuxedo paired with a cowboy hat and a pair of white Tecovas western boots. “Amber Lehman helped style me for our wedding in Sonoma, as well as for the party in Nashville,” said the musician. Brides.

During the cocktail hour of the reception, the couple paid tribute to their roots through a few unique touches. “We made custom marble trays in the shape of our home countries, which the catering team has used for past hors d’oeuvres,” said Courtney. “We’ve also included a few more sweet nods to our home states [through] our menus and cocktail napkins.”

Guests were treated to a live performance by guitarist Jacob Davis — who also played at the Sonoma ceremony at Château de Ninis — while mingling and sipping margaritas of various flavors, frozen and on the rocks.

Cole Swindell Engaged to Courtney Little: ‘I Couldn’t Wait Any Longer’ (Exclusive)

The dinner featured a hearty Southern menu catered by Beyond Details, followed later by a late-night bite of fried chicken served by the Raising Cane food truck.

After a sit-down lunch, Cole and Courtney danced their first dance to “Forever Me,” a song the ACM Award winner wrote especially for his wife. “It was so special [to dance to this] while we were surrounded by all of our family and friends,” Courtney recalled.

In another touching moment, Courtney danced on the dance floor with her father. He was always my biggest supporter and I will never forget that moment with him, she said Brides.

To share their intimate California nuptials with the Nashville audience, Cole and Courtney released a three-minute recap of the ceremony at the party.

“It really felt like all of our guests were a part of our wedding ceremony,” Courtney said of the footage put together by Light Cannon Films’ videography team.

Cole said thinking about the night Brides it was truly unforgettable. “It’s hard to put into words how special he is [the reception] was,” he said. “Having family and friends in town to celebrate our marriage is something we will always cherish. We look forward to this chapter in our lives.”

As for Courtney, she jumped at the chance to enjoy a double celebration and now has some hot advice for brides and grooms-to-be: “I would recommend a split wedding to anyone and everyone – who wouldn’t love to celebrate twice in a row?”
