Death in Paradise fans took to Instagram to share their concerns about what will happen to Ralf Little’s DI Neville Parker character after the star shared a very amusing video on Instagram.
In the clip, the actor is having fun with a crew member who opened a package of crisps upside down, but fans have raised questions about Ralf’s location. The star filmed inside the show’s prison, leaving viewers wondering if poor Neville would be in prison again in season 13.

One wrote: “Please why are you in the cell?” While another added: “You’re in jail again? I was so confused when I saw the old SEC yesterday and you were impersonating someone else, I had to rewind to make sure I wasn’t crazy!” A third added: “What have you done now?”

While Ralf has yet to answer any questions, one fan suggested it could be an old clip filming the dramatic plot of Season 12, writing, “Maybe it’s BTS from last season when Neville charged with murder? At least I hope!”
In season 12, Neville is arrested and charged with murder, despite his innocence, after being ensnared by his girlfriend, Sophie, who wants revenge. However, the detective was able to solve the case and be freed – but was shaken by the experience.

Speaking at an Instagram Q&A on what to expect in Season 13, he said: “Obviously I can’t tell you what’s going on, but everyone wants Neville to have a successful girlfriend, especially me, so let’s keep our fingers crossed that it suits him in Season 13.”
