Demi Moore Says She's Found 'Joyous Acceptance' in Aging as She Dazzles in Diamonds at 2024 Gotham Awards (Exclusive)

Demi Moore shines in glittering diamonds.

The actress, 62, wore a gorgeous aubergine Dior gown to the 2024 Gotham Awards, where she was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress for her role in SubstanceDecember 2 in New York. Her pleated and pleated floor-length dress floated around her on the carpet, and she wore a single strap draped modestly from one shoulder.

She accessorized her look with sparkling Bulgari diamonds, including a huge diamond necklace and a beautiful ring that matched her dress.

In terms of glamour, she stuck to her signature hair and make-up look, which consisted of bold lashes, natural lips, rosy cheeks and her long hair in soft curls.

On the red carpet, Moore told PEOPLE that her relationship with the topic of aging has changed throughout her life, especially as she’s gotten older. Although not necessarily related to her film Substance — who focuses on the topic of aging — admits that her views have certainly changed lately.

She says she can recognize that “throughout her whole life” she has spent too much time passing “judgment against herself”.

“I can look back and go back to my 20s, in my 30s I was finding things that weren’t good enough,” she says. “My relationship with [aging] now it’s much more about joyful acceptance. Of course, there are things where you say, ‘Oh, I wish it wasn’t like that,’ but in terms of the whole, I see myself and the fullness of who I am as opposed to just an outer idea of ​​who I am.”

The actress also stunned at the 2024 Governors Awards in her own glamorous little black dress look.

Moore walked the carpet at the Nov. 17 event in a strapless black Givenchy mini with a long train. She paired the high-low design with Sartoro Genève jewelry including a bold necklace and large green stone earrings and Aquazzura shoes. Plus, Moore shined at the Paramount+ premiere in Los Angeles Landman November 12. She wore a sleeveless high-neck sequined black dress by Alexander McQueen. The hem of the dress fell above her knees at the front, and fell into a train at the back.

She accessorized with pointed black Christian Louboutin strappy heels and sparkling silver De Beers jewelry.
