Golden Retriever Wants to Be One of the Sheep on Her Owner’s Farm — Watch!

Golden retriever Lexie just wants to fit in with the pack.

In the viral TikTok video, Lexie is shown cozying up among the sheep on the farm of her owner, Alyssa Teeuwissen.

Teeuwissen, who lives in Canada, told Storyful that Lexie adores sheep and “enjoys kissing them.”

“In her happy place,” Teeuwissen captioned the sweet video.

Since Teeuwissen posted the video she took last week, it has garnered more than 12 million views on the social media platform.

“I swear he believes he’s a sheep half the time and wants to be with them all the time,” Teeuwissen said.

It seems that TikTok users were delighted with how well the farm dog blended in with her furry friends.

“One of these is unlike any other,” wrote one commenter.

“Just chilling with my family,” another remarked.

Others noticed that the sheep was pulling the dog’s collar with its mouth.

“The one trying to untie him so they look the same,” someone joked.

“He’s having a good time,” someone else commented.

Lexie is far from the first golden retriever to cultivate a friendship with a farm animal.

In October, a golden retriever named Riley went viral when he made a generous gesture toward his new friend — a baby finch.

In a video posted by Frank de Bem on TikTok, Riley leans into the calf’s crate and drops in a stuffed toy, while a voice remarks, “She doesn’t want your toy.”

The calf fiddles with the toy for a moment, then stands up to examine it briefly before moving on.

“She doesn’t want your toy, Riley — let me get it,” de Bem repeats to Riley as the social dog begins to climb into the crate.

“Goldens will take any opportunity to make friends and I love that,” wrote one commenter.
