Jennifer Lopez previously caused an uproar in Miami after she and Ben Affleck decided to postpone their wedding at the last minute in 2003.

The actress and singer has yet to be spotted since news of her filing for divorce from Affleck hit the headlines on Tuesday, August 20. This was their first marriage, following an initial engagement that ended in 2004 and a reunion in 2021 that eventually led to their wedding in 2022.
Affleck stepped out without his wedding ring as he headed to an office building in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The Oscar winner was photographed in a gray short-sleeved T-shirt, jeans and darkly tinted sunglasses while walking in the parking lot of the building.
He has been seen on several other occasions in the same office building in recent weeks as he spends the summer apart from Lopez, amid reports of marital tension between the pair.

Multiple sources confirm to PEOPLE that Lopez filed the petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday — which marked the couple’s second wedding anniversary in Georgia. The Satin star filed without a lawyer and listed the separation date as April 26, 2024.
A source told PEOPLE on Tuesday that Lopez’s decision to divorce Affleck has left her “disappointed and sad,” though she feels it’s “time to move on.”
“Ben hasn’t given her any signs that he wants to continue their marriage,” the latter insider said. “He showed no commitment and no interest in making their marriage work.”
The source added: “It’s gotten to the point where she just needs to take care of herself.”
