Kelly Clarkson Beams as Guest of Honor for Couple Who Waited to Get Married at Her Las Vegas Show

On New Year’s Eve, wedding bells rang at Kelly Clarkson’s residence in Las Vegas.

According to a video shared on YouTube that was allegedly taken during the 41-year-old singer’s “An Intimate Night with Kelly Clarkson” performance on Sunday, the couple stopped her as she walked through the crowd and told her they had been together for 15 years and decided to get married while she was at her performance.

Tonight is our wedding, with you – said one of the men to the “Hemija” singer.

“Oh, it’s tonight… with me,” she repeated before he explained that they hoped she would serve as their wedding witness. Clarkson handed her microphone to a third man who appeared to have been brought along to serve as an officiant, and he performed a quick ceremony.

The “Breakaway” singer beamed and hugged one of the men as he married his partner. After the men exchanged their vows, the officiant pronounced them husbands “on the strength of the Kelly Clarkson show.”

Clarkson hugged the officiant and took a selfie with the pair before walking further into the crowd towards a woman – apparently one of the newlyweds’ mothers – and jokingly asked: “What did your child just do?”

Clarkson has celebrated love — and dealt with the loss of it — during her Vegas shows over the past year, including Chemistry residence.

The Grammy winner’s divorce from Brandon Blackstock was settled in 2022, nearly two years after she first filed in June 2020.

During a conversation with Shannen Doherty on The Kelly Clarkson Show she confirmed last month: “I think I need to work on myself a little bit more in a relationship to make sure I’m taking care of myself at the same time as someone else.”

An intimate night with Kelly Clarkson returns to the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas on February 9 and 10.
