Lady Gaga Exudes Harley Quinn Glam Alongside Fiancé Michael Polansky at Joker Folie à Deux London Premiere

Leave it to Lady Gaga to close the red carpet.

On Wednesday, September 25, the 38-year-old superstar had a glamorous date with her fiance Michael Polansky at the London premiere of her new film Joker: Folie à Deux. She also posed for photos with her co-star, Joaquin Phoenix.

The actress embraced her role as Harley Quinn in a dramatic red Celine by Hedi Slimane dress. Polansky wore a classic black suit also by Celine by Hedi Slimane.

Gaga’s floor-length dress featured a V-neckline and a pleated skirt. Over it, the singer wore a cropped long-sleeved jacket with voluminous puff sleeves. Her Tiffany & Co. jewelry. he additionally raised the appearance; she accessorized with a Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Rock brooch, a Vigne ring, a bracelet and earrings in platinum and 18k yellow gold with Fancy Intense Yellow diamonds.

In a nod to her character’s iconic makeup look, the star wore a theatrical makeup look consisting of turquoise eye shadow, winged eyeliner and a crystal tear under one eye. She’s also still rocking the bleached brows she debuted in August. To finish off the look, the “Bad Romance” singer wore red lipstick that matched her dress.

Her hairstyle also matched her outfit. Moving away from the ice blue color she wore to the Venice Film Festival earlier this month, Gaga opted for a black bob with red highlights and short bangs.

Gaga and Polansky, who announced their relationship in 2020, made their red carpet debut at the film’s premiere at the Venice Film Festival. Joker: Folie à Deux September 4.

At the Italian event, the star stole the show in a voluminous black dress with a plunging neckline and massive skirt. Her shimmering lace Philip Treacy headpiece, however, was a standout. She accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewelry. and platform boots.

Joker: Folie à Deux is a continuation of 2019 Joker. Premiering on October 4, the film follows Phoenix’s Joker and his love story with Harley Quinn, a role previously played by Margot Robbie, Mia Sara and Kaley Cuoco.

“My version of Harley is mine and it’s very authentic to this movie and these characters, and I don’t want to give anything away from the movie,” she told Access to Hollywood on her red carpet Ball Gaga Chromatica screening and dance party on May 23. “I think it’s really something you have to experience in the theater.”

“This movie has music, it has dance, it has incredible acting,” she added. “I loved working with Joaquin, I loved working with him [director] Todd [Phillips]. What I will say is that I’ve never done anything like this movie before, so it’s all going to be brand new and really fun.”
