Martha Stewart this season has her eye on modern monochromatic looks!

On Wednesday, Stewart stepped out to commemorate designer Gabriela Hearst at the Fashion Institute of Technology’s Couture Council event at Lincoln Center in New York.

Stewart, 82, wore a top-of-the-line, head-to-ankle Brunello Cucinelli look that consisted of trousers, a blazer with sequin lapels (which retailed for $5,495, before the Farfetch sale) and a brimmed hat.

She accessorized with turquoise bracelets, Clergerie Paris platform shoes and a tan Bandolier phone case disguised as a chic accessory thanks to a practical strap.

Nicole Daisy Toye’s make-up artist gave the star a natural glow – and even helped her paint her daytime outfit.

While Stewart dresses up for every occasion, the lifestyle guru is just as open to throwing “modesty out the window” for others — and showing her sexy side to the world.

She did it just a few months ago with her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover shoot, which featured her in a number of swimsuits, including a plunging one-piece.

“It’s important to take on challenges, whether they’re beauty challenges or intellectual challenges, even philanthropic challenges,” she told PEOPLE exclusively of why she decided to have her cover. “To be able to get up and do that – for me – is so much fun! And this is to achieve something that not everyone would achieve.”

At a red carpet event celebrating the issue, she dazzled in a gold suit, wearing a glittering Jenny Packham dress similar to the one Kate Middleton wore in 2021.

Stewart has also pretty much mastered the art of taking the perfect thirst trap.

Her now infamous photo, taken in July 2020, saw her posing for a sultry selfie by the pool while wearing a black swimsuit and glittery make-up.

She later admitted to PEOPLE that she unknowingly took the said sexy photo, noting, “I took a selfie by the pool by mistake.”

“I was trying to take a photo of the beautiful turquoise planter at the end of the pool, but the camera was on me, so I just took it,” she continued.

“It looked so good, so I posted it,” added Stewart. “I didn’t know what a ‘thirst trap’ was, but now I do. Now I’m looking for the next thirst trap. I like doing these promiscuous, provocative things, because it’s just fun.”
