Audiences can’t wait to see this moment on screen, but instead see Loki’s death, seemingly the end. Just as Thor and Loki’s brotherhood is healing and a future of equality is looming, Thor: Ragnarok At the end of the world, Thanos raised his head and destroyed all hope.
He said to Thor, “Brother, I promise you… the sun will shine on us again.” In true Loki fashion, he said to Thanos on his deathbed, “You will never be a god.”
