Megan Fox Reveals Which Tattoo She Regrets the Most and Why

Megan Fox reflects back on her ink.

During Friday’s episode The Drew Barrymore Showstar revealed that she recently regretted one of her tattoos.

“I just got one that I don’t like and have to redo,” the actress – who has just launched her new book of poetry, Nice guys are toxic — shared. “It’s my whole arm, so it’s no big deal,” she said sarcastically, adding, “But it’ll be okay, we’ll save that one.”

Fox did not go into detail about the fresh ink, which she may have gotten in the days between her television appearance and a book reading in New York on Nov. 7, during which she was photographed bare-handed.

But she revealed why she hesitated. “As they get older you pity them because they just don’t look good anymore because they oxidize,” she said. “They are not words you want associated with your body.”

Over the course of her life, Fox has had more than 20 tattoos, some of which have been in plain sight while others have been hidden in dangerous places, such as a snake dotted with stars and the moon (which covers a tattoo dedicated to her ex-husband Brian Austin Green, with whom she shares three children) on the side that reaches the bikini area.

The actress and author has tons of artwork dedicated to her favorite quotes, including the words “We’ll all laugh at gilded butterflies” from William Shakespeare’s 1606 play. King Lear and a lovely poem scrawled across her rib. And, to top it all off, he has 19 fine tattoos on his fingers.

She even has a few designs that match her fiance Machine Gun Kelly’s ink, like two voodoo dolls with stuck hearts and visible stitches on each of their ring fingers and her “Darkest Fairytale” stamp on her forearm, alluding to the first text message the couple sent to each other.

While her tattoo collection is one way Fox expresses her personal style, she also showcases her daring aesthetic through her choice of vibrant hairstyles.

The star decided to change her look before promoting her new project, opting for a fiery red bob. The look was shown earlier this week when Fox took the stage at the Racket in New York on Tuesday for a special reading of her songs.

A day later, she and her hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos decided to add what appeared to be bangs for her appearance on the show hosted by Drew Barrymore.

“For Megan’s look today in NY, I wanted to create something iconic inspired by Linda Evangelista’s beautiful red hair. I wanted to add a modern element to match Megan’s personality,” Giannetos explained on Instagram of the inspiration behind the butterfly clip style.
