In a media conversation, he mentioned that facing tough situations but staying strong, his uncle Tejpal Singh was his inspiration to pursue a career in kabaddi. He added in the same discussion that in 2017, he enrolled at the Narwal Kabaddi Sports Academy in Haryana, where he received kabaddi training from Naresh Narwal, Narwal is famous for coaching Pardeep Narwal, a famous Indian kabaddi player.
