Olivia Rodrigo talks about how she celebrated her 21st birthday.
The “Vampire” singer, 21, revealed at the opening night of her Guts World Tour in Palm Springs that she decided to buy some items at a gas station after her birthday just because she could now.
“I went to the gas station the other day and bought a pack of cigarettes and six packs of beer,” the singer said on the show, adding that she didn’t buy it to smoke or drink.
“I promise I didn’t consume it, but I just bought it because I—— I could,” she explained.
The comments were partially captured in a video posted on TikTok that night, which showed Rodrigo continuing to talk about how it feels to be older.
“Anyway, all this is to say is that I think growing up isn’t so scary after all and life just gets better in the end,” she continued before launching into her song “Teenage Dream.”
