Paris Hilton Slams Uncle Mauricio Umansky for ‘Using the Hilton Name’ to ‘Plug His Lame Show’

Paris Hilton defends her father Rick Hilton as a “perfect gentleman” after Mauricio Umanski’s decision to detail their professional consequences.

On Tuesday, Netflix shared sneak a peek the second season of the Uman show, Buying Beverly Hillsin which the 53-year-old explains his decision to leave luxury real estate brokerage Hilton & Hyland, which is partially owned by the Hilton family.

During the review, Umansky said he was “kind of screwed by Hilton & Hyland” because he didn’t become a partner and co-founded his own company, The Agency, in 2011.

Paris, 43, hit back at the allegations in the comments section of fan account @queensofbravo, which shared the clip.

“My father is the perfect gentleman and always took the higher road. He would never speak negatively about his family – especially in the press,” Hilton wrote in an apparently since-deleted comment. “Frankly, we’re all sick of him using the Hilton name every chance he gets to plug his lame show.”

“Enough is enough,” she wrote about Umanski.

Hilton’s statement comes shortly after the release of a new clip from Umansky’s show, in which he explained how not partnering has affected his wife Kyle Richards’ relationship with her family — including her sister Kathy Hilton and brother-in-law Rick.

“So I think Hilton & Hyland kind of screwed me over,” he told friends. “And when I say fucking, you know, like, I’m happy today. But there were a hundred agents at Hilton & Hyland. They made a billion dollars for the first time in a year. I was 19.6% of their production.”

“I went to Rick and said, ‘I’d really like capital, wouldn’t you, and be a partner.’ Came back, talked to Jeff [Hyland]he got back to me, and basically I was told no,” Umansky added. “Then I went home, talked to Kyle, I said, ‘This is really going to cause a lot of stress between you and your sister and your family and I don’t want to make this move leaving and starting a company if you are not comfortable.”

Umansky also said Richards, 55, “100% supports” his decision to leave and doesn’t “think badly” of Hilton & Hyland. “I’m Rick’s brother-in-law, but unfortunately, it got bad because it really affected the family, Kyle more than anybody… She stood by me, and at the end of the day, I needed that.”

Richards will appear Buying Beverly Hills season 2, PEOPLE previously reported, months after the couple split after 27 years of marriage in July 2023. A new trailer released Thursday appears to show the moment the couple broke the news to their daughters that they were separating.
