Rachel “Raquel” Leviss shines at Jingle Ball 2023!

The reality star, 29, dazzled in a sequined gown on the red carpet at this year’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in Los Angeles on Friday. The event marked her first public appearance since leaving the show earlier this year after Scandal – when she had an affair with Vanderpump Rules Costar Tom Sandoval was exposed, causing the end of Sandoval’s relationship with girlfriend Ariana Madix, who he had been with for nine years at the time.

Keeping with the festive spirit of the event, Leviss wore a nude pink bustier dress embellished with sequins and a sheer full skirt. She paired her look with black heeled sandals and kept her accessories to a minimum, wearing a few rings and small earrings.

The former reality star had her signature bob styled in loose waves and opted for a smokey eye and bare lips. Leviss smiled and posed for photos during a solo appearance on the red carpet.

Her appearance at the 2023 Jingle Ball comes after it was announced this week that she will be returning to the spotlight with her new iHeartRadio podcast, Rachel goes roguein January.

In her podcast, Leviss will discuss how she “became resilient and committed to personal growth” after a “tumultuous year of intense public scrutiny,” according to a press release.

Leviss’ podcast debut comes nearly a year after her affair with Sandoval, 41, led to the end of his longtime relationship with Madix, 38. After the scandal, Leviss and Sandoval had a falling out with the rest of their co-stars.

Leviss apologized in a statement to PEOPLE at the time, adding that she intends to focus on her well-being.

After filming the explosive Season 10 reunion earlier this year – the reunion aired in three parts since May of this year – the star went through what she described as a “mental health breakdown” and checked herself into an Arizona facility for several months of treatment .

“Raquel and her family decided before the relationship was discovered that she would go to a voluntary mental health counseling facility,” her rep told PEOPLE at the time, adding, “She was supposed to go before the reunion, but she decided she wanted to finish her commitment to filming. Bravo and production were aware and supportive of her journey to better mental health.”

Leviss returns to the spotlight with a new podcast in January.

The former beauty pageant queen will detail her post-Scandal breakup experience in her new podcast, along with her journey of rebuilding and focusing on her health and wellness.

According to a press release, Leviss will break the “fourth wall of reality” as she discusses her experience on the show, which aims to “inspire, raise awareness of mental health issues and challenge the stigma surrounding treatment.”

The The Vanderpumps Rules star will also “explore a range of themes, mastering self-empowerment and managing life’s challenges with grace and authenticity.”

“Every topic is on the table with Rachel facing her truths, uncovering secrets and drawing strength from her ongoing transformations,” the statement continued. “It will also welcome high-profile guests from the fields of entertainment, pop culture, mental health and self-help.”

Rachel goes rogue premiering on iHeartRadio on January 8, 2024.
