Reese Witherspoon Wore a Bright Red Mock Neck Sweater for a Trip to Target to Kick Off the Holiday Season

We crowned Reese Witherspoon the queen of sweater season last year, and she immediately returned to her throne.

The actress seems to have a sweater for every fall and winter occasion (see: her airport cardigan or her Legal blonde-inspired cropped green cutie), the latest is the festive red faux-collar she wore to Target to sign copies of her new children’s book, Busy Betty, for a few lucky customers. “I had fun jumping in,” she captioned an Instagram video of her adventure. “Nashville, have you found them all yet?!”

Witherspoon’s outfit choices were not only season-appropriate, but perfectly matched with the Target staff who assisted her. “Guys, I know it’s busy around the holidays, so… include me!” she said, dramatically removing her coat. “I didn’t know I was ready, but I am.” It’s definitely red! It’s safe.
