- In 2016, he launched a radio campaign #RoadforRafi to rename Route 16 Bandra to Mohd Rafi Marg, a move that received huge support from listeners.
- In 2023, people were shocked when he revealed that he had married Amrita Rao in 2014; however, they kept their marriage a secret for two years until 2016. He also revealed that they had a very simple wedding that only cost 1.5 lakh rupees. The saree worn by Amrita Rao is worth Rs 3,000 and the dress worn by Anmol is worth only Rs 2,500. Her mangalsutra cost just 18,000 rupees and wedding venue arrangements cost 11,000 rupees.
