Ryan Serhant Leads a Fresh Set of ‘Cutthroat’ N.Y.C. Agents in Netflix’s Owning Manhattan — Watch the Trailer! (Exclusive)

Ryan Serhant brings a whole new level of real estate drama to the Netflix reality scene!

The SERHANT founder, 39, stars in a brand new Netflix docuseries coming out June 28 called Owning Manhattan. PEOPLE got the first look at the adrenaline-fueled trailer, which features Serhant’s New York agents willing to do anything to close the deal.

“After selling real estate for 12 years, I decided to start my own company,” Serhant says in the clip above. He adds decisively, “And if you can’t sell, you can’t be here.”

Viewers then get to see some of the agents as they conquer Manhattan.

“The real estate business in New York is dicey,” explains one agent, while another adds, “Confidence is my middle name.”

Serhant adds with a shrug, “These new agents are just different.”

Viewers can also get a peek at the tallest and “world’s most expensive apartment” listed for $250 million.

The camera cuts to Serhant standing in a luxury estate as he tells his agents, “First person to sell it to — you get $10 million. So it’s time to step up and sell.”

Later in the trailer, viewers will see how Serhant juggles family life while managing his role as CEO. The real estate mogul shares a daughter, Zena, with his wife Emilia Bechrakis Serhant.

“This city will give you everything, and it will also take everything away from you,” he tells his agents.

Although this is Netflix’s first reality drama based on a New York brokerage, Serhant has dominated the real estate scene for over a decade.

He acted in Bravo Million Dollar Listing New York 10 years before he left the show in 2022 to focus on SERHANT, his company he started in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Owning Manhattan follows in the footsteps of other Netflix favorite real estate dramas such as Selling Sunset, selling OC, buying Beverly Hills and Tampa for sale. In May, the streaming company released a British series called Purchase of Londonwhich follows rival agents of Daniel Daggers’ independent agency, DDRE Global.

“What I love is what’s really done for the genre,” he says Selling Sunset. “I think shows have to evolve, I think genres have to evolve, attention spans evolve, the way people consume content evolves and I think that’s fun. Very different from anything we’ve ever created, but I think it’s fun and I’m excited to see what else everyone creates in the future, like what does real estate look like next year?”
