Samiksha Pednekar is an Indian lawyer, social media influencer and entrepreneur. She is the younger sister of Indian actress Bhumi Pednekar.

He died on March 23, 2011, after battling oral cancer for many years. Her mother’s name is Sumitra Pedneker, a social activist who works to promote the anti-smoking movement. On May 30, 2015, Sumitra, along with four other women who lost their husbands to oral cancer, wrote to Narendra Modi demanding a ban on tobacco production and illegal smuggling. She wrote in her letter,
My husband got sick because he was addicted to mahua (a mixture of chewing tobacco and pan masala). In the last few months of his life, my husband could not even swallow watery dal-khichdi. My husband is a smoker, chain smoker and alcoholic. This deadly combination, his poor appetite and his stubbornness were the main causes of his cancer.

While completing her degree, Samiksha interned at Ketto, Mumbai for two months (January 2014 to February 2014). In July 2014, she started working as a legal trainee at the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, under the guidance of Senior Advocate Arvind Singh; and worked there till August 2014. From August 2014 to December 2014, Samiksha worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant to Dr. Ashley Tellis at Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), Haryana. In July 2015, she was appointed as Legal Intern at ALMT Legal, Mumbai and worked there till August 2015. In January 2016, to continue her internship, Samiksha registered with the Bombay High Court and worked as a legal intern under the guidance of senior lawyers. Advocate Sudeep Pasbola.
