Simone Biles Goes for Silver in Sexy, Barely-There Sequin Hotpants for Sports Illustrated Cover Shoot

Simone Biles comes out on top for style.

On Thursday, January 2, the most decorated gymnast of all time, 27, was introduced as Sports IllustratedAthlete of the year 2024. For the desired shoot, the Olympic athlete stunned in different looks.

Standing in a studio with a gray backdrop, Biles stood out as she smiled in a long-sleeved Meg bodysuit by SER.O.YA. The best-selling turtleneck style comes in two color options, solid black and white, and retails for $168.

Biles paired a sleek black top with Retrofête’s Braelynn Crystal Hot Shorts.

The polyester bottom, priced at $598, is high-waisted and cut, perfect for showing off big legs. Lined with black material, the hot pants added the perfect contrast to her tight black top, offering a huge amount of sparkle.

As for the shoes, she wore sexy Giuseppe Zanotti strappy heels and accessorized with a selection of silver pieces from Effy Jewelry.

Mixed in with her jewelry was her wedding ring from husband Jonathan Owens, 29, of the Chicago Bears. The couple got married in 2023.

Each of her almond-shaped nails had a custom design, and the gymnast wore loose curls with fun and flirty blonde locks by Chicago celebrity hairstylist Justin Revenge.

But that’s not the only look she wore for the shoot.

Biles took sexiness to new heights in a sleeveless black fishnet bodysuit with a plunging neckline by David Koma styled with a structured, gravity-defying skirt by the same designer. This time, Biles opted for jewelry from Jacob & Co.

“The pressure of Paris, especially, is coming [of the] Tokyo [Olympics]it was a lot, but I’ve been to a lot of therapy, so I know how to deal with it,” she said.

“I wanted to be open and honest with my audience about what I was going through because as an elite athlete, everyone thinks that every moment we have in athletics is great, the best, but we also go through some downs and deal with things like everyone else did,” said the gymnast.

As for Biles, sharing her insight made her feel like others could relate to her: “It was nice because then it shows that we’re all going through this together.”

The sports professional openly said that she prioritizes her mental health.

While addressing a fan on her Instagram Stories in July 2023, Biles said she was “dealing with the mental side” of returning to the sport with “a lot of therapy.”

“I go once a week for almost 2 hours,” Biles said. “I’ve had so much trauma, so to be able to work through some trauma and work on healing is a blessing.”
