Gia Giudice celebrated her birthday on Monday, and she started her 23rd year not with one cake, but with two.
Gia and her mom, Teresa Giudice, shared photos from Sunday’s celebration on their Instagram Stories. Gia posted a photo of a cake with white frosting and pink lettering that read, “Happy Birthday Gia!” She wrote “🤍🤍🤍” over the photo.
She later shared several photos of a heart-shaped cake with all-black frosting. “Capricorn Baby” was written on top of the dessert in white icing. In the video, Gia smiled with a cake as her family sang “Happy Birthday” to her.
The unique black cake was created by Palermos Bakery, a New Jersey cafe specializing in custom cakes.
“Happy birthday 🎂🖤,” Teresa (51) wrote over a video of her daughter with a monochrome dessert.

She recently opened up to PEOPLE about her relationship with her father, who was deported from the US in 2019 after spending 41 months in prison on federal fraud charges and now lives in the Bahamas.
“WhatsApp is our best friend. FaceTime too. But honestly we see him as often as we can,” she said of how she and her younger sisters, Gabriella (19), Milania (17) and Audriana (14), are coping with the distance. “We’re doing our best, and he’s doing amazing.”
Although she said she wished her dad lived closer, Gia admitted she also found a good base in his current abode.
“The Bahamas is a beautiful place,” she said. “You can’t be so mad that it’s our second home! … But yeah, he’s doing really well. So we’re happy.”
