Victoria Beckham remembers the days of wine and roses.
In a new Instagram reel promoting her new fragrance Victoria Beckham Beauty Suite 302, Victoria, 50, shared a funny anecdote about a date night with husband David Beckham decades ago.
She started the video on November 16 sitting on a luxury couch, telling fans she was at a restaurant in Paris that she and David, 49, used to go to together in the ’90s. “It really takes me back in time,” she said of the candlelit place. “There’s something so glamorous about Paris – it feels very opulent…so sexy.”

“I remember when we came here in the 90s. I remember we ordered a bottle of wine, like a really special bottle of wine. We used to struggle to drink a bottle of wine, the two of us,” she continued, jokingly adding: “It seems we don’t have any now problem with that.”
Victoria then recalled how it was all “over the top”, noting that the “heavy smell of tobacco” in suite 302 felt very Parisian, taking her back to the 90s and paying homage to a lavish time in her life.
“Heavy draperies, velvet couches, color palettes, small fringes on the chairs. I like the way we put all these elements together in bottles to create suite 302,” she described.

“I love coming back here — I definitely say this is our happy place. I love the people, I love the energy, of course I love the wine,” she continued of the Parisian venue. “Who doesn’t?”
Victoria added that the person she imagines enjoying the fragrance is very elegant and elevated. “I really wanted to capture how I felt at the time, and how David felt at the time. This is about the two of us. This is about our special quality time in Paris in the ’90s. It’s suite 302.”
The fragrance, which includes notes of black cherry, leather and tobacco leaf, embodies “traces of the romance of an anniversary trip to Paris and embodies memories of pure glamour,” according to the Victoria Beckham Beauty website.
The mother of four is known for including personal stories when it comes to her fragrances, per Vogue.

The former Spajsica launched her cosmetics line in 2019. Decades before, she met David at a Manchester United match when he played for the soccer team in 1997.
The retired professional athlete told PEOPLE exclusively in September that he “absolutely” fell in love with Victoria at first sight. “She was a Spice Girl and sexy and beautiful and charming,” David said.
“That’s when I found out what a strong woman she is,” he continued. “So it’s the gift that keeps on giving again.”
