Looks like Violet Affleck has been shopping her stepmother Jennifer Lopez’s closet.
The 18-year-old daughter of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner stepped out on Friday, August 9 in what appears to be the same Dolce & Gabbana dress that Lopez, 55, once wore for a date night with Ben, 51.
Violet was seen out and about in Brentwood, California in a pink and white chiffon dress with long sleeves, romantic pleats and a plunging neckline. The teenager paired the formal look with red and white trainers and half-circle socks – a style approach very much committed to Generation Z.
Lopez already wore the dress for Valentine’s Day 2023 on a date with husband Ben. She accessorized with gold platform sandals, a gold clutch bag and a white belt decorated with the Dolce & Gabbana logo. The star’s hair was slicked back into a sleek ponytail.

The twinning moment comes amid reports of strain in Lopez and Ben’s two-year marriage.
The pair spent most of the summer apart as Lopez vacationed in Europe and the Hamptons in New York while Ben filmed his upcoming sequel Accountant 2 in Los Angeles. In the month of July, the couple were on different coasts for their two-year anniversary and Lopez’s birthday.

Lopez recently moved back to LA and began looking for a new home after the couple listed the Beverly Hills mansion they bought together in May 2023.

During Lopez’s time in the Hamptons, Violet was seen spending time with her stepmother. In photos taken on July 14, the duo walked arm-in-arm as they entered the 75 Main restaurant, joined by Violet’s best friend, actress Cassidey Fralin.
A source told PEOPLE at the time that Lopez and Violet were “really enjoying each other’s company.”
“They both seem so happy to be spending this time together and just enjoying the moment,” the insider said.

On Aug. 9, a source told PEOPLE that Ben is “fine.”
“He thrives when he’s busy and works non-stop,” the source said. “The kids aren’t in school yet. And he spends a lot of time with them.”
This summer was not the easiest for him either, the insider added. “He’s just trying to stay focused and make every day as good as possible.”
