Grown & Gospel premieres on We TV on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 9:00 p.m. ET. The show will consist of six segments and new episodes will be released every Thursday. Every Monday, the show is also available on AMC’s streaming app, ALLBLK. The contestant will be BreeAnn Hammond, daughter of award-winning gospel singer Fred Hammond. BreeAnn Hammond and her father have performed together on stage many times. This clearly shows their relationship.
However, being the daughter of Fred Hammond comes with some responsibilities. Therefore, now that he joins Grown & Gospel, this is a new opportunity for him to assert himself and show his abilities. Tasha Page-Lockhart, a modern urban and R&B gospel guitarist and artist, will also perform, as will pop singer-songwriter Elijah Connor, J. Brooks, daughter of Dorinda Clark Cole, Nikkia Cole-Beach and Shan Wilson-Williams.

BreeAnn Hammond wants to become famous through Grown & Gospel.
BreeAnn Hammond is the daughter of Fred Hammond and Kim Hammond, his ex-wife. Her parents separated when she was 16 years old, after 18 years of marriage. She is also recognized for her efforts in I Will Trust (2014) and Paltrocast with Darren Paltrowitz, along with Grown and Gospel (2023). (2020). Moreover, her Instagram followers exceed ten thousand people.
The Festival of Praise tour was the most memorable performance for fans since the father-son duo shared the stage of their musical organization. Breeann “Bree” Hammond has left the preaching work in the past, but it seems she’s returned with a fresh mindset and a thirst for self-affirmation. BreeAnn Hammond’s participation in the show allowed her to showcase her talents as a choir singer. As a result, she was featured in the first show of the series, referring to her work and uncertainty:
“Either it’s all or nothing. I have a ticking wristwatch. I’m trying to figure out how to get where I want to be because I’m not there yet.”
She will be joined by the children of famous choir artists. Each will showcase their abilities and be remembered for the pieces they will perform throughout the show.
What Grown & Gospel has in store for its audience
Scott Shatsky and Carlos King are producing the series. Executive producers include Lauren Gellert, Angela Dugan of Kingdom Reign Entertainment, Ashley McFarlin, Kat Uyenco and Nisa Ahmad.
According to the official synopsis for the first episode of the series:
