Tiffany Haddish fully embraces her poise.

The comedian (44) shared news about her trip with Extra’with Terri Seymour on Wednesday, May 22. Briefly reflecting on her arrest on suspicion of DUI in November, Haddish said she has been sober ever since.

“I don’t drink alcohol. I’ll never do it again,” she said, before sharing one exception to her rule. “Unless I get engaged. Then I just want him to see how crazy I am for just one day.”

In February, Haddish pleaded no contest to a reckless driving charge stemming from her arrest in Los Angeles in November. Two misdemeanor charges against her were dismissed, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office said in a statement to PEOPLE at the time.

In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE about her memoir I curse you with joy last month, Haddish said she had been sober since her arrest.

“I’m very sober,” she said. “I haven’t had a drink since [the incident]. When I sit down and look at my life, everything crazy that happened was because someone or I had alcohol in my system.”

She encouraged others to try this lifestyle for themselves.

“This is my challenge to people. My problem was that I woke up next to ugly men.”
