Bachelor’s Tia Booth Marries in ‘Romantic, Sexy’ Wedding: ‘I’ve Waited a Long Time for This Day’ (Exclusive)

Tia Booth is no longer a bachelor!

Former Bachelor contestant, 32, married her fiance Taylor Mock on Saturday at Diamond Creek Farms in Nashville. The couple celebrated their special day in front of 225 of their friends and family — including their son Tatum, who turns 1 in December.

“It was either a getaway or a big party with all our family and friends — there’s no in between,” Booth told PEOPLE of the large guest list ahead of the nuptials. “I’ve waited a long time for this day, so we might as well have everyone there to witness it!”

The couple’s wedding festivities, planned by Jessika McCuin Weddings and produced by Central Arkansas Entertainment, began Friday night with a rehearsal dinner and welcome party at the Graduate Hotel, where they mingled with their guests. The overall vibe of their two-day celebration was “sexy and romantic,” with a “slick” color scheme of neutrals with black accents and chartreuse and gold metallics.

On Saturday, guests gathered again to watch Booth and Mock say their “I dos.” During the wedding procession, Mock walked up the aisle with Tatum, wearing a tiny tuxedo that matched his dad’s. They were followed by Booth, who set sail with Drew Erwin’s cover of The Fray’s “Look After You” as a tribute to her late dad Kenny Booth, who died in February 2022 of colon cancer.

The ceremony featured flowers by Tanarah Luxe Floral, signs by Dayflower Designs, and was officiated by Ron Nottingham, one of Mock’s mentors back home. In honor of Booth’s father, the guests were downing a shot of tequila (Kenny’s favorite drink) when the officiant asked, “Who is giving this woman to marry this man?”

The couple exchanged handwritten vows, per Mock’s request. “We’re already best friends and we’ve made a commitment to each other as Tatum’s parents, so we’re excited to make things official in front of all of our family and friends,” Booth said of the moment they’ll be pronounced husband and wife.

The bride wore a lace Anne Barge gown with long sleeves and a high neck. “I can’t imagine walking down the aisle in anything else,” the reality star said of her dress. “I specifically wanted a cold weather wedding date for long sleeves.”

She later wore a second look for the reception – a custom jumpsuit from Inverness Bridalperfect to dance and celebrate with music by the Georgia Bridgewater Orchestra from the Jordan Kahn Music Company.

After the ceremony, filmed by Lucy Camryn Films, the newlyweds enjoyed a cocktail party with six different appetizers, including shrimp gougères salad, chorizo-stuffed dates and adobo braised beef mini tacos. The dinner menu featured the couple’s Southern-style favorites — bacon-wrapped bistro chicken, grilled Verlasso salmon with a smoky maple bourbon sugar glaze, and sides like mashed red bliss potatoes.

For dessert, the couple chose a strawberry shortcake with cream cheese frosting from Patty Cakes Bakery. Inspired by Booth’s love of all things spooky, the cake featured a mixture of black fondant and layers of black velvet, as well as an embossed phrase, “Until Death.”

Later in the celebration, guests enjoyed a late-night bite provided by Daddy’s Dogs, a gourmet hot dog restaurant. Kenz Kustomz also gave them custom trucker hats as a favor.

Booth and Mock shared their first dance to “Wildfire” by Cautious Clay. The bride also took a spin on the dance floor with her son, as Bryan Adams’ emotional ballad “Everything I Do” played.

At the end of the evening, Grand Exit lit up the sky with festive fireworks.

Booth said her long-awaited wedding was perfect from start to finish. “As someone who didn’t really know what I wanted, that’s exactly what I wanted. Dark, moody and cold,” she said.

For the newlywed Ms. Mock, the best part of all is that she now shares the same last name as “her boys.” “I’m honored to be Taylor’s wife and Tatum’s mom. I love our life so much. As long as I have them, I’m happy,” she said.

“I love that we get to raise Tatum together every day,” Mock added of the family they’ve built together.

Instead of a honeymoon — they can’t handle being away from their son for too long — they plan to enjoy a mini-stay at Southall in Nashville, which Booth said has an “amazing spa.”

The couple first met at a farewell party for one of Booth’s friends. They struck up a friendship that eventually blossomed into something more when Mock admitted he had a crush on Booth. It suits Booth Bachelor roots, Mock proposed in April 2022 during a Bachelor Live performance in Atlanta — with a little help from the franchise’s star.

“[Bachelorette] Becca Kufrin and [husband] Thomas Jacobs actually helped set the whole thing up,” Booth revealed. “I was totally shocked! I thought I was there to be a special guest on a live show!”

While basking in the glow of their wedding, the couple is excitedly looking to the future – and they have big plans!

“The next chapter looks like more babies ASAP! Grow companies, grow as a team. We’re getting a puppy to keep things interesting,” Booth said. “We’re pumped.”
