Coach Shah maintains that he is innocent in the court of public opinion.
Sharrieff Shah, better known as Coach Shah, was mentioned in the The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay’s upcoming memoir, have a good time girl when she dropped a big bomb about him and her ex RHOSLC cast member Monica Garcia.
In the excerpt he published Us Weekly, Gay wrote that Garcia (who previously worked for Shah’s wife, the ex RHOSLC star Jen Shah) claimed Sharrieff tried to kiss her before Garcia was cast on the show.

In the excerpt, Gay writes that Garcia and Sharrieff met in a gas station parking lot, and Garcia claims the soccer coach tried to kiss her. According to Gay, Garcia “pushed him away.”
Gay writes that Garcia allegedly “longed” for Sharrieff “from the moment she met him, and it was one of her absurd fantasies.”
A rep for the Shahs tells PEOPLE exclusively that both Jen and Sharrieff deny any such thing ever happened, claiming Garcia has a history of spreading rumors.
“We categorically deny the statements made by Heather Gay and Monica,” the representative said. “Coach Shah never had or attempted to have a romantic relationship with Monica at any time. Both my clients Jen and Sharrieff Shah ignored the constant attempts by Monica and others to bait the story. Jen remains committed to her path of positive rehabilitation and will not entertain the frivolous talk of those looking for a lift from her or her family.” Garcia starred for one season at RHOSLC last year, which ended with Gay revealing the shocking news that Garcia was involved in an Instagram gossip site called RealityVonTease. The account was known within the group for attacking ladies and posting videos from Jen’s house.

Garcia released a statement to PEOPLE. “It is truly sad and troubling that Heather Gay has nothing to write about other than twisted and false allegations in a desperate attempt to smear the reputation of two families,” Garcia said. “Heather’s lies about me continue to reach new lows and the only fantasies going on here are the ones she makes up in her book.”
She continued: “To clarify, I never said that Sharrieff Shah and I kissed, nor was there ever anything romantic or physical between Sharrieff and I. So carelessly writing such untrue and damaging accusations in permanent ink against others for financial gain is worth it reasons [former TV producer] Carlos King called Heather Gay the most dangerous housewife.”
At the time, Garcia insisted she only participated in RealityVonTease to expose Jen, who is currently serving a five-year prison sentence for her role in a long-running telemarketing scheme.
“I didn’t say s— about anyone but Jen and I’ll own that to the grave,” she yelled at the women during the season four finale, adding that she doesn’t see RealityVonTease as a “bad thing” because she was “just telling the truth.”
Gay, however, called Garcia a “cyber-bullying internet troll” before delivering his iconic line in which he said he had a collection of “certificates, evidence, timelines [and] screenshots” to prove her claims.

The rest of the Housewives agreed with Gaye: “You fooled us all,” shouted Lisa Barlow, while Meredith Marks shouted, “You sat here with us for three months and you didn’t tell us the truth.”
Garcia left the show after the incident, although executive producer Andy Cohen did not rule out a future return.

During the filming of the film Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen On Friday, November 22, Marks, Gay, and Barlow all unanimously agreed that they would rather have Jen return than former cast member Monica Garcia.
The next day, Marks elaborated on the possibility of Jen returning to the show after her prison sentence.
“Accountability goes a long way in our circle,” Marks told PEOPLE. “If you say, ‘Look, I messed up and I made a mistake and I’m sorry’ — that’s important. If she takes responsibility and does what she needs to do to make it better, that’s the best she can do right now. There’s nothing else to do. ”
“We’re human. We all do things we’re not proud of, and sometimes they’re wrong,” Marks continued. “This is obviously big; it’s bad. But she’s in jail. She’s serving her sentence. She’s paying restitution. I mean, she’s not making a ton of money, but she’s doing what she can. And that’s all a big price to pay. I don’t know what more you can ask for her.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesdays at 9pm ET on Bravo.
Memoirs of Heather Gay Good Time Girl will be released on December 3rd.
