Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond Introduces Daughter Paige’s New Boyfriend — and Shares Sweet Family Vacation Photos!

Ree Drummond extends a warm welcome to her daughter’s boyfriend.

In his latest blog post, A pioneer the star detailed a family trip to Colorado for the new year. While writing about their many adventures in the mountains, her most entertaining tidbit was introducing daughter Paige’s new boyfriend, David Andersen.

“Okay. I buried the ice. This is David. He’s Paige’s ‘friend’. Not her friend, mind you,” she joked in the caption of the pair’s photo. “Her friend.’ I won’t go into details because that’s Paige’s place…but the smile on her face might give you some idea of ​​how Paige feels about her new friend. I mean ‘friend’. I mean, I’m going to stop writing this title now!”

Ree also shared that she was able to spend quality time with Paige, 24, and David while in Vail.

“David could only stay for the first three days, so on the last day I went to breakfast with him and Paige,” she wrote, adding details of their meal. “You’ll notice that my plate was even fuller than during my solo breakfast two days earlier. If you eat early in the morning, calories don’t count!!”

Paige shared several photos on Instagram with his new partner, who attended Ohio State University, according to his Instagram bio. Paige shared with friends a look at their trip to Canada and photos of the two of them in Dallas, Texas. Her mom showed her love in the comments section of a post of the two hugging.

“So so so sweet. ❤️,” Ree wrote.

In Vail, Ree was joined by her children Todd (19), Bryce (21) and daughter Alex (26) and Alex’s husband Mauricio. Although she teased that she might “see 2024 on skis,” she gave the update in her blog post. “When I’m around young adults and teenagers, I start to believe that I’m a young adult/teen too, with two exceptions: one, when it’s time to ski. I love my bones and joints and I don’t like falling so I don’t go,” she wrote .

Ree turned 55 on January 6 and celebrated her big day by doing what she does best: cooking.

Pioneer Ree Drummond is creating a ‘new tradition’ for New Year’s Eve this year: ‘We’re excited’

In a series of silly Instagram stories, she said she made the family’s biscuits and gravy to celebrate the milestone. “Happy birthday!!😂🤓,” she joked in the caption above a picture of adopted son Jamar holding his loaded plate.

She also took some “me” time to celebrate her birthday. In one photo, Ree was sipping an espresso martini. “This is my birthday portrait,” she wrote in the caption Story.

Drummond’s trip to Vail could be the start of a new tradition, Ree revealed in late December.

“We’ve thrown a big party at P-Town Pizza in the past, but this year we’ll be in Vail, CO,” she wrote in a blog post. “We’ve never been to New Year’s Eve, so we’re excited.”

No matter where the family is, Ree always prepares a special dish for the New Year.

“I’m not that superstitious, but on January 1 I jump Ivan,” she said, because “black-eyed peas are supposed to bring good luck.”

Last year, the Drummond family traveled to Vail for Christmas while their house was under construction. This year, Ree and some of her family stayed in town for Christmas.

She and Ladd hosted in their newly remodeled home on their Pawhuska ranch. According to the family’s annual tradition, the team decorated the halls in matching pajamas.

Ree and Paige shared a selfie of some family members wearing matching Tipsy Elves reindeer outfits.

“It was a VFP (Very Few Photos) Christmas for me, but I ended up with a few of those,” Ree wrote on Instagram. “Lots of food, funny stories, wine, laughter and Dr. Pepper.”
