Tom Schwartz is ready to Vanderpump Rules fans to watch what happens in his latest visit to the Bravo clubhouse — he just hopes it’s a little less tea-spilling confessional than his last appearance.
The reality star returns to Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen after Tuesday night’s episode Winter houseand he plans to be a little more restrained than when he visited Andy Cohen’s late-night show on April 6 in the wake of Scandal.
During that appearance, he delved into the sordid details of his friend and colleague Tom Sandoval’s months-long affair with co-star Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.
“It was a bit of a debacle last time,” he tells PEOPLE, adding, “although I don’t think it was as bad as I remember. There were some funny moments, I think?”

To mention just a few of those moments…
He called Leviss Sandoval a “heroine” while dropping a bombshell about when Sandoval, 41, first discovered he had cheated on then-nine-year-old girlfriend Ariana Madix, 38, with a 29-year-old SUR waitress.
He condemned the vandalism at his and Sandoval’s Los Angeles restaurant Schwartz & Sandy’s — but said the gossip sensation was, in a way, good for business.
He admitted that he thinks “it would be a miracle” if Sandoval and Leviss’ relationship lasted, noting that it had become “toxic” rather than “sustainable.” (Although the pair never really defined their relationship or officially ended things, Leviss gave herself a birthday present by blocking Sandoval on Instagram in September — a move the Most Extras singer deemed “petty.”)
And looking back on his fleeting flirtation with Leviss amid the divorce, including a brief makeout at actress Scheana Shay’s August 2022 wedding (viewers now know a time when Sandoval and Leviss were actively involved in their affair), Schwartz admitted he didn’t think she his kiss with the former pageant queen was “worth it”.

Seven months since the last time WWHL, Schwartz tells PEOPLE he wasn’t prepared for the consequences of his honesty. “Oh my God, it wasn’t good for my personal life. I got grilled online and offline, face to face, in DMs,” he says.
“I’ve been a stupid fool,” he continues, “and I’ve promised to be more level-headed this time—but not dull, not dull. Just more thoughtful and maybe considerate.”

And Schwartz doesn’t just plan to step up his word game — he’s also upping his appearance.
After his ex-wife Katie Maloney compared his jacket during Vanderpump Rules panel at BravoCon 2023 on the “couch,” bar co-owner TomTom calls the dig a “turning point” for him aesthetically.
“Even though I’m standing with my jacket on the couch. I’ll go on the record,” he insists. “I stand by it. It was a great jacket.”
She admits, “I’m not known for my style, but I’ve been a little too messy lately. And I thought I could use a little token reset, too. So my friends hooked me up with a stylist and… . I kind of feel like I’m bringing a little back to life. I was a sad sack for a few years, a bit unhappy.”
After coming out on the other side of a divorce, a family health crisis and a scandal that rocked his entire circle of friends, Schwartz tells PEOPLE, “I felt like I was falling apart, and now I feel like I’m putting myself back together.”
