Thanksgiving is four days away, but Chrissy Teigen says she’s already done cooking.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, Nov. 24, the model and cookbook author, 38, gave her followers a glimpse into what her preparations for Friendsgiving involve, so her four children can celebrate the holiday with their friends before the big day.
The first photo in the post shows Teigen posing in the perfect holiday ensemble, complete with a matching red dress and jacket and a chef’s hat. Another photo shows Teigen hilariously dressed as a sad-looking viral Oompa Loompa serving candy to a crowd of kids from a Willy Wonka experience gone wrong. He wears a green wig and white overalls.
“How it started / how it goes,” she captioned the post before sharing that her family is already on their fourth party of the month. “Right now I’m making the 4th Friendsgiving of the month 😭😭😭,” she wrote, joking, “I have too many kids, man.”

Teigen and her husband, John Legend, are parents to daughters Luna, 8, and Esta, 22 months, and sons Miles, 6, and Wren, 17 months.
The actress who played the Oompa Loompa, Kirsty Paterson, even commented on Teigen’s post, writing, “You know you’ve made it when Chrissy Teigen dresses like you 💅 😍.”
Just last week, Teigen spoke with PEOPLE about her Thanksgiving plans and revealed that she’s decided to forgo the traditional main course for something more crowd-pleasing.
“The only weird thing I do is I don’t like turkey,” she said. “So we tend to, like, nestle, like, three big chickens in the same roasting pan and we’ve found that everyone enjoys that a lot more than turkey. So that’s always really fun.”

Last year on Thanksgiving, Teigen shared some adorable family photos along with her usual antics. The Cravings the author and Legend (45) could be seen in several posts on Instagram cuddling up to each other while standing next to a table filled with an amazing spread.
The legend was also seen serving himself from the table and filling his plate with food, while Teigen also showed off the family’s delicious dessert options. The “All of Me” singer marked the holiday by posting a black-and-white photo with his wife and their four children along with the caption, “I’m so thankful for my family, my everything. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!”
The announcement was followed by an adorable selfie with Esti, whom he and Teigen welcomed in January of that year. Vote the coach captioned the sweet photo, “Esta’s first Thanksgiving was a success!”
